Yoga Healing Glasgow, is a dedicated Yoga and Healing Space that is home to a wide range of Classical Yoga Classes, 1-2-1 Yoga Therapy, Weekend Workshops and Therapies. We are only minutes from Byres Road, and Kelvinhall Underground.
Walking into the Beautiful Basement Studio immediately brings One Peaceful Feeling. The warmth and quiet, discreet windows and rich tapestries are an enriching backdrop to the dedicated teachings that go on in this beautiful space, taking you away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Yoga Healing has weekly classes suiting everyone. Our classes fall into the categories of Beginners – if you are completely new, feeling a bit rusty, or enjoy a slower pace. General Yoga or Yoga for All Levels – if you feel quite fit and healthy and you have either tried Yoga before or have an idea of what to expect, and Intermediate – if you feel confident in many of the postures and your teacher has advised you to move deeper into your practice.
We have different styles and types of classes to suit everyone’s needs, such as Beginners Yoga, General Yoga for All Levels, Intermediate Hatha Yoga, Pilates, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga for All Levels, Pregnancy Yoga and Meditation and Pranayama. Our classes are either Drop in or Blocks. Wherever you see ‘Drop in’ just show up and join the class, there’s no need to contact us before hand. Wherever you see ‘Pre-Booked or Block’ all you need to do is call, text or email the teacher to reserve your space before joining.
In addition to our weekly classes we offer additional 1-2-1 Yoga Therapy with Claire Rodgers and 1-2-1 Massage with Colin Shreenan. The 1-2-1 yoga sessions are all about looking at your individual needs – mind, body and spirit – and personalising a yoga session or sessions just for you. The 1-2-1 massage sessions are about restoring your functional movement and to release pain, tension and ease stress. Perhaps your current situation is preventing you from practising the way you would like, or you are looking for an additional support to your well-being. All Yoga Classes are practiced in bare-feet and we recommend comfortable, loose clothing that you can move around easily in. We provide yoga mats, blocks and all the equipment you will need to enjoy a class with us.
Yoga Healing has free parking directly outside, and you can find other methods of transport and a map on the contact page. Please allow yourself time before class begins and arrive 5 minutes early if you can.
